1. Nonionic surfactants:

Their main function is to reduce the surface tension of water and exert emulsifying, wetting, and dispersing effects, making them the most important component in detergents.
2. Chelating agents:
Commonly used chelating agents include sodium citrate, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid sodium salts (EDTA-2Na, EDTA-4Na), etc. Green chelating agents GLDA and MGDA can effectively improve the cleaning performance of machine dishwashing detergents, with GLDA and MGDA showing better cleaning performance than sodium citrate in machine dishwashing detergents.
3. Dispersants:
Dispersants play a role in builders by dispersing dirt particles and preventing them from redepositing on the surface of tableware. Commonly used dispersants include maleic acid-acrylic acid copolymer sodium salt, sodium polyacrylate, etc.
4. Alkaline builders:
Builders can sometimes account for as much as30% or more in machine dishwashing detergents, playing an important role in cleaning tableware. Commonly used alkaline builders include sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium silicate, etc. Their main function is to provide alkalinity and saponify fatty components, making grease easier to clean.
5. Other auxiliaries:
Biological enzyme preparations such as amylase and protease have good washing effects on starch-based and protein-based substances in dirt;
For stubborn colored stains such as tea stains and coffee stains, oxidizing auxiliaries such as sodium percarbonate and sodium perborate are sometimes added.

2. Citric acid
Main function is to neutralize the alkaline components brought by the detergent on the dishes, reduce precipitation of insoluble salts in water, and lower water hardness.
3. Solubilizers
